Hello!

We're excited to announce that the changes you have been requesting to streamline and modernise your product listings are being released.

Keep reading to see the new look and details on how these changes improve your customers' shopping experience. We wanted to let you know in advance before the changes are released on Monday.
New look shopfront!

We are very excited to share this new and improved design with you!

This release is focused on:

  • Improving the overall appearance of your shopfront and
  • Making it easier for your shoppers to add products
Your product images will now display on mobile, and will be larger than before on desktop.

All current images will be resized to fit the new format, but if you'd like to maximise the impact of your shopfront and branding, you can now use larger images that will have more impact.

Don't forget to review how your images look and optimise them to make the most of the wow factor that this upgrade offers.
Your customers can see detailed product information in the shopfront listing without having to click on the product to display your descriptions.
Your customers can now add products to cart with a single click of the new 'Add' button, and increase or decrease the item quantity using up & down arrows.
Do your customers select large quantities of individual products? We want your feedback
We're aware that this change means it could be time consuming for a customer to specify very large quantities of an item eg. add 50 apples to your cart, where an apple is listed as a single item.

It’s a rare scenario, but if your shopfront relies on this kind of buying behaviour get in touch and we can help with communicating the change to your customers. We would also value your input on the next design steps to resolve this.

Group Buy
For shops currently using the Group Buy feature (click to learn), it will now be easier for your customers to specify their minimum and maximum amounts.
Support
We're always here to help
If you'd like more help with setting up a new feature, or you have a question, you can contact us at hello@openfoodnetwork.org.au

If you think something has broken because of this release, please let us know as soon as possible! We can only investigate the bugs we know about, and the sooner we hear about them the easier it is to pin down their source.

We've also really appreciated those of you who have touched base with us to ask if we can help improve a process or add a feature. We can't always change things immediately, but often we can help! We also use your feedback to prioritise which features get built - if you don't tell us you need it, we don't know to build it!

If you'd like someone else on your team to receive this email, please invite them to subscribe here.
